Community Tiger Stripes
If you would like, you are now able to recognize a staff member for their positive impact on our school. If you are willing, take a moment to send a Community Tiger Stripe. The message will be sent to the staff member. Thank you in advance for taking time to help continue to relentlessly recognize the positives within our community.
Do you know someone who might be interested in subbing?
If you know of people who are responsible, reliable, kind individuals who enjoy students, could follow a sub plan and are looking for the flexibility of part time work, encourage them to explore their Short Call Sub License with MDE. https://mn.gov/pelsb/assets/Short%20Call%20Substitute%20Teaching%20License%20Guidance%20POST_tcm1113-451855.pdf

Report Cards
Earlier this week, report cards for trimester one were made available on parent portal in Infinite Campus. As a resource for you, we have created this three minute video that will show you how to access the report card and also tips for how to utilize the information in the report to support your student.
COVID-19 Testing Now Available (Repeat)
Beginning this week, Farmington Area Public Schools, ISD 192, will offer the Cue molecular COVID-19 test to symptomatic students over the age of two years old, with permission from their guardians, and to symptomatic staff members.
Parents/guardians will need to give written permission for students to be tested. This permission will be collected via an e-signature through a Google Workspace for Education form. Nurses will contact parents/guardians to offer these tests as needed and collect permission.
Currently, tests will only be available to students who develop symptoms at school. The Health Office at each school will be able to administer the test to the student once their guardian has given permission. The CUE test is a rapid PCR test that is collected through a nasal swab. It takes approximately 20-30 minutes for a result. Students will remain in the isolation room until testing is complete.
These tests provide another option for our families to get quick COVID-19 test results so that students do not have to miss school while awaiting test results. Parents/guardians are always welcome to find other molecular and PCR testing locations via the State of Minnesota testing website.
Families should continue to perform daily health screenings and follow the COVID-19 Decision Tree when symptoms are present.
Thank you for your ongoing support of our schools.
