HAPPY Mea Week
As we approach MEA, just a reminder that there is no school Thursday, October 21st and Friday, October 22nd. This week, we concluded fall conferences and it was an excellent opportunity for our staff to connect with learners and their families. Thank you for engaging in those opportunities. 6th and 7th grade learners rotated to their new wheel class and will explore this experience for approximately the next 7 weeks.
Our staff has been focused on making connections and learning where are students are at to best meet their needs. This year, we continue to focus on the social, emotional, and academic needs of our learners each day.
Thank you again for all your support throughout this school year. Enjoy the weekend.

Community Tiger Stripes (REPEAT)
If you would like, you are now able to recognize a staff member for their positive impact on our school. If you are willing, take a moment to send a Community Tiger Stripe. The message will be sent to the staff member. Thank you in advance for taking time to help continue to relentlessly recognize the positives within our community.
Sub Info (REPEAT)
Do you know someone who might be interested in subbing?
If you know of people who are responsible, reliable, kind individuals who enjoy students, could follow a sub plan and are looking for the flexibility of part time work, encourage them to explore their Short Call Sub License with MDE. https://mn.gov/pelsb/assets/Short%20Call%20Substitute%20Teaching%20License%20Guidance%20POST_tcm1113-451855.pdf

Process for Student Absence for Illness (REPEAT)
To help reduce the number of phone calls home to collect information on symptomatic learners, we have created an absence form that parents can choose to fill out instead of a phone call. They can still choose to leave a phone message on the attendance line. The absence form will be used for illness ONLY.
