Dan Miller, Principal

Dan Miller became Principal at Boeckman Middle School in July of 2012. Prior to becoming the Boeckman Principal, Mr. Miller served Farmington Area Public Schools as Assistant Principal of Levi P. Dodge Middle School and as Assistant Principal of Farmington Middle School West.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology from St. John’s University in Collegeville, Minnesota. He completed his teacher certification at Colorado State University, holds a master’s degree in Learning Technology from the University of St. Thomas, and an educational specialist degree in Educational Leadership also from the University of St. Thomas.
Prior to coming to Farmington, Mr. Miller was a 7th grade Life Science teacher at Kenwood Trail Junior High in Lakeville, Minnesota for four years followed by six years as the Technology Coordinator at Century Junior High also in Lakeville.
In his spare time, Mr. Miller enjoys reading, cycling, hunting, fishing, motorcycling, landscaping/gardening, and home improvement/building projects.
